i wondered how tomorrow could ever follow today

some of my first few pictures from Angers:

the view from my room...the river is there under that spot of light in the middle

napping in the super comfortable grass on campus

andrew

we visited this amazing church that was built in 1240....organs over 20 feet tall and elaborately carved wood and stone

michel is the man...helping us out with our french all the time and being a baller

while he caught a fish, i caught some buttcrack

spiderweb

we took a class trip to Brittany, an area of small towns on the coast of France..unfortunately it rained the whole morning so i didn't get many outdoor shots

visited another really old church

this one was much smaller

i flashed jesus christ

took an apple break on the way to another part of the coast in Brittany, where annual boat festival was going on

take time to ponder

people were enjoying themselves

tons of people towards the end

a lot of women were dressed like this -- i think they were locals of the town and had been living there for a while

my class

austin to chicacgo to paris

made my way to Angers out of Austin..first i flew into Chicacgo and waited for a couple hours

friends from my class were already chilling by our gate

handheld video cameras are a necessity

on time to Paris

the chicacgo airport is huge..and it was kind of crowded

ready to do the damn thing!!

flight attendants began serving us our delectable meals midway through the 8 hour flight

see what i mean..

sunrise

france!

paris and its outskirts stretch for miles...this is us entering

we made it safely

wooooo!!

my class...then off to Angers where I will be for 6 weeks!
