some friends and i ventured to Brissac, a small country town about fifteen km outside of Angers.
it was an incredibly nice day out...we agreed that the tall trees and surrounding landscapes reminded us of Shrek
my professor joe knew this old couple who had been living in this classic french house for quite some time. seriously, how badass would it be to have a castle right outside your backyard?

they showed us around town a bit and i snapped a photo of this little guy..he liked having his picture taken
then she came out and had a trick for us involving her dog
they took us to this old church (i need to start recalling names) with a beautiful antiqueness

...and finally we all went atop this big cliffside overlooking a vast part of Angers and its surrounding areas. way back when (i need to start recalling dates), the french peasants pushed a fleet of french soldiers off these things!
